Internal Medicine Meeting 2024: Mastering Medicine Together, was held in Boston, Massachusetts April 18-20, 2024, and had an attendance of over 8,800 physicians. The event featured more than 200 sessions covering a wide variety of clinical and practice management topics for doctors of internal medicine and its subspecialties. 848 attendees from outside the United States came to the meeting. The top three countries outside the United States with the highest number of registrants were Canada, Mexico, and Dominican Republic.
바카라 사리트 once again offered international individual registration rates, as well as specially priced delegation rates, for attendees from around the world. A total of seven delegations (10 or more physicians registered as a group) came from Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic (2), Mexico, Panama, Sri Lanka, and Switzerland.
At the Convocation Ceremony on April 18, approximately 335 physicians were celebrated as new recipients of Fellowship and 47 were from 20 countries outside the United States. Approximately 99 members were recognized as recipients of Mastership or 바카라 사리트 named awards, including 2 recipients of the new Inspirational Global Member Award. The College bestowed Honorary Fellowships to 6 presidents of global internal medicine societies.
바카라 사리트 was honored to host presidents and representatives of internal medicine societies from around the world. The international delegates were part of the stage party in the Convocation Ceremony. They also participated in 바카라 사리트's 17th Annual Global Forum, "Meeting the needs of patients with obesity: policy, prevention, and treatment," moderated by Omar T. Atiq, MD, M바카라 사리트, 바카라 사리트 President, and Eileen D. Barrett, MD, MPH, SFHM, M바카라 사리트, Chair, 바카라 사리트 Board of Regents. The Forum provided an opportunity for 바카라 사리트 leaders and the presidents and special representatives from international internal medicine societies to share their regional perspectives and strategies on the important topic of obesity.

The Obesity Management Learning Series from the College offers insights and strategies to help treat patients with obesity and includes patient education materials.

Andrews, MD, F바카라 사리트, of Collinsville, Connecticut, became the Chair-elect of the Board of Regents.
